WBS is currently 1st in the Atlantic Division, 2nd in the Eastern Conference, and 3rd in the AHL with a 5-1-1 record (78.6 P%). They have outshot their opponents 217-175 (55.4 SF%) and at Even Strength they outscored their opponents 13-7 (65.0 GF%).

They are #18 in the league having gone 5 for 31 at a 16.1 PP%. They are #1 in the league having stopped 30 of 32 at a 93.8 PK%. They are also tied for the league lead with 3 shorthanded goals. They also have 1 Penalty Shot goal.

DeSmith has gone 2-0-0 stopping 48 of 50 for a 1.00 GAA (#4 in the AHL) and .960 Sv% (#4 in the AHL). So far this year he has been the top rookie netminder.
